History has it, some of the greatest stories have a simple beginning. It was the year 2000, when Mr. Sondagar, a fledgling entrepreneur found a person who was abandoned by his relocator because of operational issues. The man who was shifting his household commodities locally, was stranded below his building with all his belongings. Mr. Sondagar stepped in and agreed to help him relocate. Thus, Gurukrupa Packers & Movers was founded. Mr. Sondagar always had the vision of simplifying lives which he channeled through his business of packing and moving. He always believed in making the process of packing and moving simple and convenient. Back in 2001, when the idea of packing and moving was still considered as an unconventional business, Mr. Sondagar established a company that offered shifting solutions to local clients at an affordable rate.

Considered as a visionary among his peers, Mr. Sondagar always emphasises on understanding the clients’ needs and tailor solutions around it. With him at the helm, Gurukrupa Storage & Shifting Solutions for 20 years has ensured that the process of packing and moving remains seamless, worry-free and convenient for our clients.

A pillar of support since inception, Ms. Chandrika Sondagar’s strength lies in identifying and understanding customers’ needs. It was 2006, when Ms. Chandrika Sondagar observed the growing need of warehousing/storage solution for personal needs. She noticed that a lot of people were relocating and due to that, they either had to move their belongings with them or sell at a throw away price. That is when, with her inputs and insights, Gurukrupa began its vertical of storage solutions. Through this, we started providing secured and affordable storage solutions not just for individuals but also for corporates that needed to store bulk records, IT data and unused furniture.

Ms. Sondagar knew that none of the warehousing facilities in Mumbai were well-equipped at that point of time. She knew that customers would only rely on storing their belongings when it is safe and secured. So, Gurukrupa went onto build a state-of-the-art warehousing setup, with 24 hrs security, CCTV surveillance, fire detection with protection system and more.

Our clients trust us because of our efficiency and Mr. Rajesh Nair is one of the key members responsible for that. With 22 years of experience in the express and logistics industry, Mr. Nair looks after the back-end customer support along with sales. He truly reflects the beliefs of Gurukrupa Storage & Shifting Solutions and always ensures a high-quality customer experience. Through his constant efforts to elevate customer satisfaction and deliver customised solutions, Mr. Nair makes Gurukrupa Storage & Shifting Solutions stand tall among the rest.

One of the youngest and brightest members of our team, Raj Sondagar joined Gurukrupa in 2019. He drives our on-location survey process where he gauges the scope of work. It is his decision-making skills and understanding of operation that ensure we provide the best service to our customer at the best rate possible. He also spearheads the daily operation while studying for his graduation.

While he understands the second-generation entrepreneurs have an added advantage over freshly launched start-up owners, he also knows in the end, it all boils down to talent, knowledge, and the right skills to run a business. Mr. Raj Sondagar believes it’s the ability to make a difference that makes an entrepreneur successful and not inheritance.

Great teams are made of great players. One of such great players in our team is Mr. Saproo. He comes with over 18 years of experience in management and plays a pivotal role in helming the administration division. With strong communication and organization skills, Mr. Saproo’s planning, policies and procedures are what make our team’s operation smooth, efficient and customer friendly. He always aims for seamless functioning and ensures every project is executed perfectly. His way of initiating and coordinating goals, meeting deadlines, and providing extraordinary aftercare, reflect his passion for the job.
